Technical Inside Sales/Value Add Assembly Support
Duties include but not limited to:
- Fielding of customer inquiries received by mail, phone, fax or email.
- Advising, within the individual’s level of understanding, the application of our product offering (training will be provided on our specific products).
- Preparation of quotations
- Processing of customer orders
- Preparation of dimensional, wiring drawings and other documents that may be required for internal assembly use or by the customer
- Follow up of quotations
- Light mechanical assembly and wiring in our value add shop
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary technical education, preferably in automation technology, with a focus on pneumatics, electromechanical and electrical.
- Computer literacy, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
- Good people skills.
- Good organizational and prioritization skills.
- Self-starter, able to assess what needs to get done and complete the task with minimal to no supervision or guidance.
- Ability to work under the pressure of short deadlines and put in extra time when needed.
- Previous experience with automation technologies is required.
